GENRE #1

Tracey Cerbone,

I would like to let you know that your answers to the questions were really interesting to me. I did further research on one of the questions I had asked you. The question was “Do you think the MCAT should have a strong influence on admission to medical school?” You replied saying it should only have a “moderate influence because the MCAT reflects only hours of work opposed to years of work”. As much as I agree with your response, medical schools differ on whether they weight the MCAT or GPA higher or even at an equivalent level. A GPA shows how well a student performs throughout all coursework, but MCAT is a test supported by years of research that suggests that the higher score you get the better you will do in medical school. I appreciate you taking time out of your day to answer these interview questions for my research paper.

Thank you,

Nick Cerbone
