For paper number two, I decided to write and research on the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). Throughout my research I plan on learning a great deal of information about the structure of the MCAT and how it affects students who want be accepted into medical school. I am hoping that this research gives me an incentive to do well in these prerequisite classes during my beginning years as a Biochemistry major. I thought this would be a perfect topic because after my four years here at Florida State, I will be preparing and taking the MCAT. I have two people in mind that I can interview. The first person could be my aunt who is a retired neurologist and the second could be my uncle who currently works as a gastroenterologist. They both prepared and took the MCAT and they both went to medical school which makes them worthy candidates for an interview. I know they will have plenty of interesting and useful information that they can share with me. Although I will not be taking the MCAT until after I graduate, I thought it would be a good idea to get a heads up on what is coming. Hopefully, throughout my research I will find out a lot about what is soon to come.
